Is it spring yet???

I am so ready for spring! I want to take pictures, but I am WAY too cold to go outside and take them....I guess maybe this means I should practice inside?

Please hurry spring!!!

A little surprise….

I was cleaning the house the other day, and as I stood up from picking something up off the floor, I had quite a site in my window….so I grabbed the camera and tried to get a great shot.  He had come down a bit before I could get the camera fast enough, but it looked amazing on the warmish winter day!  I had the wrong lens on the camera for a good close up, so it will have to be this cropped one!  Doesn’t it look awesome with the gorgeous snow covered mountains in the back….. 

a Little Windy?

 

When we came to look at our house before buying it, it was a nice calm peaceful evening.  Well, little did we know that isn’t really common in this neighborhood….It gets WINDY!  We have an empty lot across from us, and everything from across the way blows into our yard….tumbleweeds, sand, construction workers garbage….

This apparently applies to snow as well.  We had some awesome snow drifts in our front yard this year.  As much as I hate the cold and snow, these are pretty amazing to look at.

 

Latest Creations....

I have been SO bored lately. I have a great job, from home, it just gets lonely being home while the kids are at school. I told Josh I need a job or I need a new hobby (or 2 or 3..I like t stay busy)....considering there aren't too many jobs that are the same schedule as when the girls are in school, for now, I am looking for some new hobbies....
This month some friends and I started a craft day. We are going to try and have it once a month. This month we made flower clips. Well, Madi heard this and got so excited, so yes, she was invited. She had a birthday party for a friend and wanted to give her a homemade gift. So here is our project (which, I have to say, turned out AWESOME!)

This is one that Madi actually designed herself...I have to say one of my favorites!
